I saw what I consider to be a great film last night, "Brother to Brother". I consider it great because it was enjoyable without any struggle from beginning to end. Yes there are many films that fit into that description so it is one of many but only in that general sense. It was unique in subject matter. The relationship between an older artist and a younger artist is conveyed through stories of the past and new experiences showing a parallel struggle. I would like to talk more about the subject matter but I also think it is a wonderful surprise as the characters are revealed in the film. If you know the style of the metaphysical octahedron, then relate his style to the film. Unfortunately, my internet search did not reveal any information about an upcoming DVD. There is a trailer available.
